and your contributions to our continued growth. As a Southern Pawn employee, you will be a
part of an exciting force that has recently emerged in the pawn industry… a customer-oriented
chain of pawnshops offering advances previously unheard of in this industry.
We began in 1978, with the opening of the first Action Pawn in Cedar Park, Texas. There has since
been the addition of twelve other stores throughout the state. It is our goal to add additional
stores as opportunities present themselves. However, we are far more concerned with building a
strong group of high quality, profitable shops, than growing for only growth's sake.
At Southern Pawn, we believe that our ultimate success is dependent upon our commitment to
providing excellent service and value to our customers. We also believe that you and the rest of
the Company team represent the most important asset we have in meeting this commitment. To
assure the continued commitment and enthusiasm of our team, we are dedicated to providing you
with the best training, benefits, and rewards possible.
Our sales and loan associates in our store facilities can receive "on-the-job" training in the following career path:
- New Associate Training
- Sales and Loan Associate
- Assistant Store Manager
- Store Manager
- Regional Supervisor
